Patina, unique from the very first touch
From the very first touch, the tap comes to life. Over time, a beautiful characteristic patina develops, making Hotbath Cobber Living Colours personal, but above all, truly unique.
What is Patina?
All Hotbath Cobber Living Colours are finished without a surface coating, resulting in a beautiful and vibrant appearance. Two Living Colours finishes are available: Brushed Brass and Aged Brass.
Patina develops because the metal is finished without surface protection. As a result, the tap naturally changes in colour and sheen over time. The finish may become lighter or slightly darker, allowing the material to truly come alive. Small imperfections appear, giving the tap its own unique character. The patina develops unpredictably, making every tap completely one of a kind.
How does patina develop?
Patina is the result of oxidation and forms on the surface of the tap. It develops through exposure to air and moisture, but every touch also contributes to the transformation. Each time the tap is used, the surface subtly changes in appearance, giving the Living Colours finishes their vibrant character.
In addition to Living Colours, 8 other stunning finishes are available. Thanks to this wide selection, the combinations and possibilities are endless. From a basin mixer to a fully designed bathroom, Cobber complements every interior style.
