Characteristic patina
Interior stylist and Hotbath enthusiast Justine Zeegers shares her experience: “With the living colour and characteristic patina, Hotbath taps are for us the perfect cocktail for the most beautiful bathroom ever.”
Every time I step across the threshold of the bathroom, I burst with happiness. A mix of pride and relaxation flows through every part of my body. I still find it special how we managed to bring our project to life. Not entirely from A to Z, of course. But once you start sketching and then move on to SketchUp, turning visualisation into reality, you quickly become deeply involved in creating your own spa. Yes, that’s what I always call it, not a bathroom, but a spa.
In short, our bathroom is a place of calm. But it is also a space that is truly lived in. You could describe it as the perfect journey. The Hotbath sanitaryware felt like the ultimate helping hand. And of course, I’m talking about the Cobber Living Colours. The name says it all, it lives. Every drop and splash leaves its mark forever, making products with this finish incredibly unique. The freestanding bath mixer from Hotbath deserves to be seen. Why place it behind the bath? No, we deliberately chose to keep it in sight. These taps deserve attention and should not be hidden behind an object or tucked away in a corner.

Justine Zeegers on the Living Colours

The bigger the shower, the better!
Two Living Colours finishes are available: Brushed Brass and Aged Brass. We chose the Brushed Brass finish.
Of course, we continued the design throughout the space, permanently integrating the beautiful Hotbath shower controls into the Moroccan designer tiles. The bigger the shower, the better. What an incredible luxury it is to be immersed in the flow of water coming from the Hotbath taps. We wanted to emphasise the sense of space, which is why we chose to build in the rest of the sanitaryware as well, allowing every detail to receive the same amount of attention.
No taps placed in front of our Moroccan designer tiles, but also not in front of our marble wall, which has its own story to tell, quietly following the veins of the marble slab.
The ingredients: nude tones, matte white that gently fades into the background, our natural wood bathroom furniture, the handmade Moroccan designer tiles, the marble countertop and, truly, the stunning sanitaryware with its living colour and characteristic patina. For us, it is the perfect cocktail for the most beautiful bathroom imaginable.
